Status Match with Explora Journeys - My Hacks + How-to Guide
So you want to book an Explora Journey but want to make sure you get the best value? Of course my number one tip is to book with me so you beenfit form my expertise and first hand knowledge of the brand. Plus I will add on bonus onbaord credits. But you should also Status Match.
What is Status Match?
Status matching is when you use brand loyalty at select brands to reoceve instant loyalty status with Explora. Think of it as Explora’s way of thanking you for trying something new. See the table below for the various brands that Explora matches with.
You want to match to Silver tier or higher. Classic tier is the basic tier that is granted aurotmatically without staus matching.
Having Silver tier or higher wll get you 5% off your sailing so it is worth doing! Click here to learn more about Status Match benefits.
HOW TO STATUS MATCH?
When signing up for an Explora Club account tick the check box that you would like to complete a status match. Explora will email you a form for you to fill out and upload proof of the third party status.

Back door status match hack
What if you don’t have any of the above loyalty programs? Well there is a back door way using the MSC voyagers club.
MSC Voyagers club allows you to sign up and status match with them, and they match with a much wider numebr of loaylty programs inclduing hotels. See the list below.
Click here to staus match with MSC Voyagers Club. Then once approved, go back to Explora a staus match from your new MSC status.
Since even the Classic MSC tier will get you Silver with Explora, you only need the minimum status match with MSC to benefit.
